Pirin Mountain

Pirin Mountain is definitely the best for freeriding in Bulgaria. It has a unique combination of lift-accessible chutes, unbelievable treeriding, amazing peaks, cliff drops and the best powder by far. The resort starts from the town of Bansko 920 m. with a new 8 – seated cable car /gondola lift/ built in 2003. The main area starts at 1500 m and reaches 2560 m. It is situated mainly on the north ridges of Todorka peak / 2748 m /. On the west face of the peak there are many routes; most of them are lift-accessible. Todorka’s north face is also great terrain to ride. In the area there are several awesome peaks – Vihren 2914 m, Kutelo, Polejan, Bezbog, Gazei and Muratov.

Rila Mountain - 7 Lakes Region

This is the area in Rila that has the biggest snowfall each year. There is one of the best high mountain lodges – Rila Lakes hut 2150 m. It is a great base with really nice accommodation and is also cat-accessible. There are many hike& ride possibilities in the area, some of them combined with a cat. The main peak in the region is Otovitsa /2696 m/.
